Get To Know Dr. Moon
Introducing Dr. Ellen Sora Moon, a seasoned general dentist with over a decade of experience in the field. Born in South Korea and raised across the globe from Indonesia to the United States, Dr. Moon's journey to dentistry was sparked by her own early experiences with dental care.
Throughout her career, she has practiced in various dental offices, gaining invaluable experience and honing her skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. These experiences have shaped Dr. Moon into the dedicated professional she is today.
Driven by meticulousness and hard work, Dr. Moon strives not only to enhance her patient's dental health but also their overall wellness. She places great emphasis on building strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect with both patients and staff alike.
Dr. Moon is an esteemed member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society.
During her academic journey, she earned a bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Boston University before graduating from Western University of Health Sciences' dental school located in Pomona, CA.
In her free time, Dr. Moon loves spending time with her husband Jason, son Ezra, and her dog Leo. She’s thrilled to plant roots down in South Bay where they plan on raising their family together – giving back to this community brings joy to Dr. Moon!
